Central Power Research Institute (CPRI) is an autonomous Society under the
Ministry of Power engaged in Research and Development in the fields of generation,
transmission, distribution and operation of electricity supply systems. CPRI acts as
an apex body for initiating and coordinating applied research in electrical power
engineering assisting the electrical industry in product development and in Quality
Assurance. CPRI also serves as an independent Authority for Testing &
Certification of power equipment. The CPRI Head office is situated at Bangalore and
its units are at Bhopal, Hyderabad, Nagpur, Noida, Kolkata, Guwahati and Nasik.

Scientific Assistant: I Class B.Sc. in Chemistry and 5 Years
post qualification experience

Engineering Assistant:
I Class 3 year Diploma in Electrical Engineering / Civil
Engineering/Mechanical Engineering and 5 Years
post qualification experience

Upper Age Limit : 35 Years

Technician Grade 1
ITI Trade certificate in Electrician Trade.

Upper Age Limit : 28 Years

Assistant Grade II
BA/ BSc. / B.Com/ BBA / BBM with First Class.
English Typing speed of 30 w.p.m on Computer.

3 years of postdegree work experience in areas
such as Finance & Accounts,
Establishment & Administration in an Organisation

Upper Age Limit : 30 Years

MTS Grade 1 – (Watchman)
Ex-serviceman (Army/Navy/Air force) preferably with 10th Pass

45 for UR/EWS Exservicemen,
48 for OBC Exservicemen
50 for ST Exservicemen

The upper age limit is the age as on the last date prescribed for registration of
on-line application i.e. 21.11.2022 (Inclusive of the date). The upper age limit
mentioned for posts at No. 1 to 4 relaxable as per Govt. of India norms.
